The Microgate Starting Pistol is an innovative and versatile electronic starting system that offers precision and reliability in various sports applications. With three sound options (bang, whistle, and siren) and an optional light signal, this device is ideal for athletics, team sports, and swimming. The system can be connected to other Microgate equipment, such as the Witty TIMER & GATE Kit , for accurate timing.  

How the product works

The Microgate Starting Pistol generates an acoustic and visual starting signal. This electronic system offers three sound options: a blast for athletics, a whistle for team sports, and a siren for swimming. The device can be connected to the Microgate Witty TIMER or Witty GATE via a special cable for accurate timekeeping. For additional functionality, a portable speaker with a microphone can be connected.

The Microgate Starting Pistol is designed for use in:

The collected data can be analyzed in combination with the Witty Manager software, allowing for further optimization of start times and performance.
